Allianz acquires first wind parks in Austria

Allianz Capital Partners (ACP) has further expanded its renewable energy investments both in volume and geographically. By acquiring four wind parks ACP has entered the Austrian wind market and exceeded 2.5 billion euros in renewable energy investments.

ACP has entered an agreement to acquire the four Austrian wind projects Scharndorf III, Zistersdorf Ost, Ladendorf und Großkrut-Hauskirchen-Wilfersdorf, which are located within a 70 kilometer radius of Vienna.

E-bikes are taking over our cities

In its Risk Pulse "The city of the future belongs to cyclists" published today, Allianz explains how urban mobility is changing as a result of the rapid increase in "e-bike" and "bike-sharing" programs.

According to Navigant Research annual e-bike sales figures are set to rise by 27 per cent to 40.3 million, and already today there are more than 700 bike-sharing systems across 57 countries.

In run up to the 44th opening of Art Basel Switzerland, the premier international art show for modern and contemporary art, on June 18, Head of Art Insurance at Allianz Germany Eric Wolzenburg lists some of the ways fine art can be damaged.

Allianz presents Bayern München team for the new season

On Saturday, July 11 2015, Allianz invites all football fans to join the team presentation of FC Bayern München in the Allianz Arena. It introduces the new team squad for the 2015/16 season. The event starts on 1 pm with a family celebration on the Esplanade.

As of 3 pm the players of Bayern München appear for the first time together. They present their championship trophy and run a showtraining session with coach Pep Guardiola. Afterwards the FCB All Stars compete against Inter Forever.
